Frank Edward Porter (27 January 1907 – 14 August 1943 (aged 36)) was a Canadian soldier from Fort William in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Porter died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Porter was born in Fort William on 27 January 1907, the son of Frank Edward Porter and Eleanor Porter, husband of Irene Porter.[1]
Service
Porter served as a leading aircraftman (service number 1201278) in the Air Force, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (614 Sqdn.).[1]
Death
Porter died on 14 August 1943, aged 36. He is commemorated at Le Petit Lac Cemetery (Oran) (grave reference Plot E. Row E. Grave 7.).[1]
