Frank Corton (21 February 1885 – 3 July 1918 (aged 33)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry Works Battalion. Corton died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Corton was born on 21 February 1885.[1]
Service
Corton enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 439866) in the Army, Canadian Infantry Works Battalion (1st Canadian Inf. Works Bn.).[1]
Death
Corton died of disease on 3 July 1918, aged 33. He is commemorated at Etaples Military Cemetery (grave reference LXVII. F. 17.).[1]
