Francois Bouchard (died 1882) was a mixed-ancestry member of the Bouchard family of Lake Nipigon.[1]

Life

  • Listed as "French & Indian" on the 1871 census, his wife as "Indian" and their two children as "French & Indian".
  • Married a woman of the Nipigon Band in 1881 and "adopted the Indian mode of life", though he likely did not live on the Gull Bay Reserve.
  • Died in 1882.
