Findlay Nicholson (3 December 1883 – 19 September 1915 (aged 31)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Nicholson died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Nicholson was born at Glasgow on 3 December 1883, husband of Katie M. Nicholson.[1]
Service
Nicholson enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 439518) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (52nd Bn.).[1]
Death
Nicholson died of acute peritonitis on 19 September 1915, aged 31. He is commemorated at Thunder Bay (Mountain View) Cemetery (grave reference War Plot).[1]
