Fermie L. Battiston (c. 1921 – 2005) was a shipper in Fort William, Ontario.[1]
In 1950 Henderson's directory listed Battiston as a shipper with Batters Cartage and Storage Company, householder at 114 Norah South.[1] The directory names his wife as Elsie.
The directory entry reads: "Battiston Fermie (Elsie) shpr Batters Ctge h 114 Norah S".[1]
Later life
An obituary for Fermie L. Battiston, born about 1921, was published on 7 June 2005 in Sarnia, Ontario.[2] Given how rare the name is, this is very likely the same man as the 1950 Fort William shipper, though the index entry itself doesn't name Fort William.
