The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1997 were held in Trondheim, Norway.
Thunder Bay connections
A 22-member delegation from Trondheim came to the 1995 Nordic World Ski Championships at Big Thunder to learn from Thunder Bay's organizers.[1]
