Ernest William Gagnon

Ernest William Gagnon ((1889-02-27)27 February 1889 – 6 June 1916(1916-06-06) (aged 27)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment). Gagnon died on active service during the First World War.[1]

Early life

Gagnon was born at Pembroke on 27 February 1889.[1]

Service

Gagnon enlisted at Fort William and served as a lance corporal (service number 73902) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment) (28th Bn.).[1]

Death

Gagnon died on 6 June 1916, aged 27. He is commemorated at Cement House Cemetery (grave reference XVI. C. 37).[1]
