Eero Leinonen (died 16 October 2016, aged 90) was a Finnish-born resident of Thunder Bay who was a member of Hilldale Lutheran Church.[1][2]
Life and family
Eero Leinonen was born in approximately 1926. He had siblings remaining in Finland named Lea, Anssi, and Tuula.[1]
He was predeceased by his wife Hilkka, his son Harri, his daughter Saila, and his daughter-in-law Eija. He was survived by his son Jari and daughter Aila. His family included daughter-in-law Muriel and son-in-law Bart. He left behind many grandchildren: Esa, Kirsti, Kai, Ruby, Madison, Meaghan, Tim, Kellie, Jason, Harri Jr., Karla, Tyrone, Blake, Olivia, Raakel, Ryan, Kia-Lee, Reggie, Nicole, and Grace. He was also survived by Bruce.[1]
He was a member of Hilldale Lutheran Church. He passed away at the age of 90 on October 16, 2016, at Hogarth-Riverview Manor in Thunder Bay. A funeral service was held at Hilldale Lutheran Church on October 28, 2016, with Reverend Jari Lahtinen officiating. Arrangements were handled by Harbourview Funeral Centre.[1]
