Edward Forest (5 December 1887 – 16 September 1916 (aged 28)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Forest died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Forest was born at Arichat, Richmond County on 5 December 1887, the son of James Allan Forest and Charlotte Forest.[1]
Service
Forest enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 438579) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (52nd Bn.).[1]
Death
Forest died on 16 September 1916, aged 28. He is commemorated at Vimy Memorial.[1]
