Edson Roy Binch (9 March 1924 – 30 October 1944 (aged 20)) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Binch died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Binch was born at Warren on 9 March 1924, the son of Walter Cyril Binch and Julia Binch.[1]
Service
Binch enlisted at Toronto and served as a private (service number B/116811) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment ((Motor), R).[1]
Death
Binch died on 30 October 1944, aged 20. He is commemorated at Bergen-Op-Zoom Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference 3. F. 3.).[1]
