Douglas Peter Gaunt (died (1944-08-04)4 August 1944) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Gaunt died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

Early life

the son of Alfred William Gaunt and Nancy Livie Gaunt.[1]

Service

Gaunt served as a private (service number H/45523) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment ((Motor), R).[1]

Death

Gaunt died on 4 August 1944, aged 24. He is commemorated at Bretteville-Sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference XVI. D. 6.).[1]
