Denis Oliver Charlebois (7 February 1897 – 26 October 1917 (aged 20)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Charlebois died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Charlebois was born on 7 February 1897.[1]
Service
Charlebois enlisted at Fort William and served as a private (service number 198986) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (43rd Bn.).[1]
Death
Charlebois died on 26 October 1917, aged 20. He is commemorated at Menin Gate (Ypres) Memorial (grave reference Panel 24 - 26 - 28 - 30).[1]
