Life and family
Deena Greaves was a professional caregiver who worked as a Registered Practical Nurse at Dawson Court. She remained with the facility until her retirement in 2015. She was known for her dedication to the residents under her care.[1]
She enjoyed traveling and shopping, often combining the two interests. She was a devoted family member who prioritized the needs of others. She was a long-time friend of Garry Boyer.[1]
She was survived by her husband Jim, her sons Keri and Kevin, and their respective spouses Susy and Jennifer. She left behind three grandsons, Nathan, Matthew, and Jaxon. Her surviving siblings included her brothers Kerry, who was married to Starla, and Ron, who was married to Sylvia. She was also survived by her nephews Shane and Kelly, and her niece Samantha and her partner Alex.[1]
Deena Greaves died on November 4, 2018, following a long illness. During her final days, she received medical care at St. Joseph's Care Group. Cremation has taken place.[1]
