David Ross (died 21 April 1916) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Ross died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
the son of William Ross and Mary Jane Ross.[1]
Service
Ross enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 8109) in the Army, Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) (A Coy. 5th Bn.).[1]
Death
Ross died on 21 April 1916, aged 28. He is commemorated at Cambrin Military Cemetery (grave reference E. 25.).[1]
