David John Smith (died 4 May 1945) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Smith died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

the son of Frederick Smith and Frances Smith.[1]
Service
Smith served as a private (service number L/11271) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment ((Motor), R).[1]
Death
Smith died on 4 May 1945, aged 38. He is commemorated at Holten Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference XII. A. 9.).[1]
