Cyril Angus Stodgell (15 April 1921 – 11 September 1944 (aged 23)) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Stodgell died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Stodgell was born at Fisherton on 15 April 1921, the son of Charles Stodgell and Mary E. Stodgell.[1]
Service
Stodgell enlisted at Winnipeg and served as a corporal (service number H/20704) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment.[1]
Death
Stodgell died of wounds received in action on 11 September 1944, aged 23. He is commemorated at Adegem Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference II. C. 11.).[1]
