Clifford John Johnson (13 February 1922 – 23 May 1952 (aged 30)) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur in the No. 4 Flying Training School. Johnson died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Johnson was born in Port Arthur on 13 February 1922, the son of John Johnson and Jessie Johnson.[1]
Service
Johnson served as a flying officer (service number 37897) in the Air Force, No. 4 Flying Training School.[1]
Death
Johnson died of flying accident on 23 May 1952, aged 30. He is commemorated at Port Arthur (Riverside) Cemetery (grave reference 1936-8 Soldiers Plot).[1]
