Clarence Jesse Bain (28 May 1922 – 5 December 1943 (aged 21)) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur in the Royal Canadian Dragoons, R.C.A.C.. Bain died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Bain was born in Port Arthur on 28 May 1922, the son of Watson Christopher Bain and Ellen Mason Bain.[1]
Service
Bain enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a trooper (service number B/195396) in the Army, Royal Canadian Dragoons, R.C.A.C. (1st Armd. Car Regt.).[1]
Death
Bain died of wounds received in action on 5 December 1943, aged 21. He is commemorated at Agira Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference C, E, 316.).[1]
