Clarence Eugene McDevitt (born 13 July 1897) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
McDevitt was born at Lucknow, Canada on 13 July 1897.[1]
Service
McDevitt enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 10 MD, 1st Depot Battalion, Manitoba Regiment (regimental number 2384045).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as clerk; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs Florence Mc Devitt, of 66 College Street Port Arthur Ontario Canada.[1]
