Charles Baird (8 September 1885 – 10 October 1918 (aged 33)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment). Baird died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Baird was born on 8 September 1885.[1]
Service
Baird enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 73318) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment) (28th Bn.).[1]
Death
Baird died on 10 October 1918, aged 33. He is commemorated at Bucquoy Road Cemetery (grave reference IV. F. 2.).[1]
