Cecil Leonard Hinton (died (1944-08-05)5 August 1944) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Hinton died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

Early life

the son of Richard James Hinton and Margaret Elizabeth Hinton.[1]

Service

Hinton served as a corporal (service number H/16798) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment.[1]

Death

Hinton died on 5 August 1944, aged 24. He is commemorated at Bretteville-Sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference XIX F. 11.).[1]
