Ben Hayes Carey (26 January 1891 – 26 October 1917 (aged 26)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Machine Gun Corps. Carey died on active service during the First World War.[1]

Carey was born on 26 January 1891.[1]
Service
Carey enlisted at Fort William and served as a corporal (service number 622878) in the Army, Canadian Machine Gun Corps (10th Coy.).[1]
Death
Carey was killed in action on 26 October 1917, aged 26. He is commemorated at Dochy Farm New British Cemetery (grave reference IV. B. 29.).[1]
