Basil Alvin Wanless (born 20 November 1898) was a Canadian soldier from Fort William who served in the First World War.[1]

Wanless was born in Fort William on 20 November 1898.[1]
Service
Wanless enlisted at Winnipeg in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (regimental number 2293770).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as stenographer; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Mr. J. Wanless, of 304 South May Street, Fort William, Ontario.[1]
