Barbara Luskey (25 September 1939 – 12 November 2015 (aged 76)) was a restaurateur known across Canada for her apple pies at the Lac des Mille Lacs bait, tackle and restaurant.[1][2]
Life and family
Luskey was born on 25 September 1939 in Dixie, Ontario. She was known for her hard work running the kitchen at Lac des Mille Lacs Bait, Tackle and Restaurant and became famous across Canada for her apple pies.[1]
She died on 12 November 2015, aged 76, with her daughter beside her. She was survived by her sons Dan and Jerry, daughter Kathy and four grandchildren.[1]
