Arvo Wickstrom (13 December 1930 – 16 January 2011 (aged 80)) was a Thunder Bay man remembered for his helpfulness and sense of humour.[1][2]
Life and family
Wickstrom was born on 13 December 1930. He moved from Hazelwood Drive to St. Paul's Place late in life and, after losing a leg, still enjoyed visits to the casino. He travelled with his wife Laura in the United States and Canada, most recently to the Canadian East Coast in autumn 2010.[1]
He died on 16 January 2011, aged 80, survived by Laura, his son Glenn, daughters Judy and Gale Biloski, grandchildren and his sister Helen. His brother Reino and daughter Lorraine died before him. The family asked for donations to Christ Lutheran Church.[1]
