Sources disagree on his exact date of birth: the Wikipedia-derived biography gives 5 September 1914,[1] while an Elite Prospects record gives 5 May 1914;[2] both agree on the year.

Career

Nash was a member of the 1936 Port Arthur Bearcats, which won the silver medal for Canada in ice hockey at the 1936 Winter Olympics. In 1987 he was inducted into the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame as a member of that Olympic team. He played goaltender; his final recorded season was 1941–42 with the Kimberley Dynamiters of the ABCSL.[2]
