Arthur Birch (died 24 July 1917) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Birch died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
the son of George Birch and Esther Birch.[1]
Service
Birch enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 439645) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (52nd Bn.).[1]
Death
Birch died on 24 July 1917, aged 20. He is commemorated at La Chaudiere Military Cemetery (grave reference III. A. 2.).[1]
