Arnold Clegg (21 February 1893 – 29 September 1918 (aged 25)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Clegg died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Clegg was born on 21 February 1893, the son of Arthur James Clegg and Emma Clegg.[1]
Service
Clegg enlisted at Fort William and served as a private (service number 2383388) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (52nd Bn.).[1]
Death
Clegg died of wounds on 29 September 1918, aged 25. He is commemorated at Duisans British Cemetery (grave reference VII. A. 74.).[1]
