Archie Blanchard ((1897-06-29)29 June 1897 – 28 August 1918(1918-08-28) (aged 21)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Blanchard died on active service during the First World War.[1]

Early life

Blanchard was born on 29 June 1897.[1]

Service

Blanchard enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 2383442) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (43rd Bn.).[1]

Death

Blanchard died on 28 August 1918, aged 21. He is commemorated at Ligny-St. Flochel British Cemetery (grave reference II. D. 8.).[1]
