Andrew Stuart Baird (died 8 August 1918) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment). Baird died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
the son of Andrew Browning Baird and Penelope Campbell Baird.[1]
Service
Baird enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a lieutenant in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment) (14th Bn.).[1]
Death
Baird was killed in action on 8 August 1918, aged 26. He is commemorated at Toronto Cemetery (grave reference A. 12.).[1]
