Andrew Sopko (died 14 August 1944) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Sopko died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
the son of Michael Sopko and Agnes Sopko.[1]
Service
Sopko served as a lance corporal (service number H/46502) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment ((Motor), R).[1]
Death
Sopko died on 14 August 1944, aged 28. He is commemorated at Bretteville-Sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference XXI. C. 5.).[1]
