Anderson Rodger (16 June 1913 – 24 March 1945 (aged 31)) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur in the Gordon Highlanders. Rodger died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Rodger was born in Port Arthur on 16 June 1913, the son of William Kirkland Rodger and Agnes Rodger.[1]
Service
Rodger enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a lieutenant (service number CDN/429) in the Army, Gordon Highlanders (1st).[1]
Death
Rodger died on 24 March 1945, aged 31. He is commemorated at Holten Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference IV. H. 3.).[1]
