Anastaczia Kinash (died 12 October 2015, aged 92) was a Ukrainian-born woman who settled in Fort William in 1964.[1][2]
Life and family
Kinash was born in Ukraine and came to Canada in 1964, settling in Fort William, where she married Nestor Kinash in November 1964 at the Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers.[1]
She died at St. Joseph's Hospital on 12 October 2015, aged 92. Nestor died in May 2002. She was survived by her son Zbiniew and his wife Kim of St. Catharines, her brother Walter Pielich and a niece and great-niece in Thunder Bay, and was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Anna Pielich. The funeral liturgy was held at Blake Funeral Chapel on 21 October 2015, with burial at St. Andrew's Cemetery.[1]
