Alexander Martin Lyone (1 January 1893 – 26 September 1917 (aged 24)) was a Canadian soldier from Fort William in the Northumberland Fusiliers. Lyone died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Lyone was born in Fort William on 1 January 1893.[1]
Service
Lyone enlisted at Regina and served as a second lieutenant in the Army, Northumberland Fusiliers (11th Bn.).[1]
Death
Lyone died of wounds on 26 September 1917, aged 24. He is commemorated at Calais Southern Cemetery (grave reference Plot B. Row Officers. Grave 11.).[1]
