Alexander Currie Wood (born 7 July 1877) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Wood was born at Mauchline, Ayrshire, Scotland on 7 July 1877.[1]
Service
Wood enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 94th Overseas Battalion (regimental number 199183).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as married carpenter; his next of kin was recorded as his wife, Hannah C Wood, of 80 Selkirk Avenue Port Arthur.[1]
