Albert Skeet (24 January 1909 – 10 August 1944 (aged 35)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Royal Canadian Artillery. Skeet died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Skeet was born at Edrans on 24 January 1909, the son of Albert Charles Skeet and Olive Victoria Skeet.[1]
Service
Skeet enlisted at Fort William and served as a bombardier (service number H/67621) in the Army, Royal Canadian Artillery (3 Anti-Tank Regt.).[1]
Death
Skeet was killed in action on 10 August 1944, aged 35. He is commemorated at Bayeux Memorial (grave reference Panel 21, Column 1.).[1]
