Albert Charles Chenier (7 September 1920 – 15 August 1944 (aged 23)) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur in the South Saskatchewan Regiment, R.C.I.C.. Chenier died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Chenier was born in Port Arthur on 7 September 1920, the son of John Chenier and Edith Chenier, husband of Margery Chenier.[1]
Service
Chenier enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number H/16803) in the Army, South Saskatchewan Regiment, R.C.I.C..[1]
Death
Chenier died of wounds received in action on 15 August 1944, aged 23. He is commemorated at Beny-Sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference IV. F. 5.).[1]
