1994 Winter Olympics
The 1994 Winter Olympics were held at Lillehammer, Norway.
Thunder Bay connections
In 1995 the Chronicle-Journal noted that Canada had sent no ski jumpers, only one cross-country skier and no Nordic combined athletes to Lillehammer. This was a measure of how far the national programme, once built around Big Thunder, had declined.[1]
