William James Soper (born 12 August 1886) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Soper was born at Perth, Canada on 12 August 1886.[1]
Service
Soper enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 1st Depot Battalion, Manitoba Regiment (regimental number 2383732).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as carpenter; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Soper, William F., of P.O. Box 110 Perth, Ontario, Canada.[1]
