William Douglas Young (born (1896-09-15)15 September 1896) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William and served in the First World War.[1]

Young was born at Langbridge, Isle of Wight, England on 15 September 1896.[1]

Service

Young enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 94th Overseas Battalion (regimental number 199041).[1]

Attestation

On enlistment, his trade was given as labourer; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Elizabeth Young, of Knighton Isle of Wight Eng.[1]
