William D Ross (born 25 August 1893) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Ross was born at Dundee, Scotland on 25 August 1893.[1]
Service
Ross enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Overseas Battalion (regimental number 438417).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as clerk; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs Ross, of 45 Reddie St, Dundee.[1]
