Biography

Started in late 1995 as "Scrape" for an appearance on the Thunderground Compilation. VH became known locally for being an odd lot in the scene, and for trashing their instruments on stage. They released 2 tapes and one 7" single on their own Bleak Records , two of which were entered into The National Library Of Canada. Over the close to 2 years they were together, they opened for Propagandhi, MDC, Elevator To Hell and a host of other well-known touring acts. Sadly disbanded in 1997 due to internal tension, with Mike and Nick going on (with most of the band's song catalogue) to Commercial Suicide, while Joe went to Society's Norm. They re-formed for a reunion show in 2000, and have plans for another reunion sometime in 2006 (10 year anniversary of first show) as well as a remixed/remastered/revamped archival CD that will cover all released material, as well as some of the 50 odd hours of unreleased tape.
