The Ring of Fire is a mining development in Northern Ontario.[1]

- November 2025: Indigenous leaders expressed concern that this mining project threatens the natural economy, hunting, and trap lines. People travelled by canoe from Attawapiskat to set up a blockade to bring attention to the project. The project is promoted as the future for the economy of Ontario.[1]
