Template:Directory listing

{{Directory listing}} emits one row of a person's == Directory listings == table. One row = one printed year of a city directory (e.g. Henderson's), so each new year is one more row and nothing is loose prose. Rows are kept in year order; the table is sortable.

Parameters

• year – edition year.
• name – the entry as printed (transcribed, abbreviations kept).
• occupation, employer (link the firm's article), address, spouse (link the spouse's article if it exists).
• page – printed page number; ref – the <ref> citing the directory (defined in {{reflist}}).

The wikitable header and the closing |} are written by hand (or by WikiBot). The matching business version is {{Business listing}}.
