Step Up Kids Awards
Step Up Kids Awards is an annual recognition program for children making a difference in their communities.[1]

- October 2025: The 2025 ceremony is scheduled for November 14 to honor ten children as leaders, helpers, and change-makers. The awards recognize youth for acts of kindness, cultural leadership, and community involvement across Northwestern Ontario. Recipients from the 2024 awards were featured in a public exhibition at the Co.Lab Gallery.[2]
- November 2025: The awards recognize children who demonstrate leadership in their schools, families, and communities through actions like fundraising, caregiving, and cultural sharing. Ten recipients were celebrated in 2025 with a ceremony and a Jingle Dress Honour Song at Fort William First Nation.[1]
