S.W. Matteson was an USA co. treasurer in St. Paul, Minnesota, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1896 and inventoried at $1,000.00 (equivalent to $49,030 in 2025). He died intestate, without a will, and was survived by six children.[1]
