Robert Smith (born 17 July 1882) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William and served in the First World War.[1]

Smith was born at Edinburgh, Scotland on 17 July 1882.[1]
Service
Smith enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 141st Overseas Battalion (regimental number 820753).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as stone mason; his next of kin was recorded as his father, Wm Smith, of 22 Burntoch St, Edinburgh Scot.[1]
