Publicity Pagoda

From thunderbay.wiki

The Publicity Pagoda in Thunder Bay was built in 1909 and is described as probably the oldest municipally owned structure in Canada created for public relations.[1]

It has a Muslim-Indian-style umbrella ('chattri') roof, a Greek peristyle, Roman pilasters, a Scandinavian dragon-head gable ornament and a beaver panel; an architectural elevation by Larry Fogolin was used on the 1977 cover.[1]
