Philo Saxton (born 15 September 1870) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Saxton was born at Rensselaer, United States on 15 September 1870.[1]
Service
Saxton enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 230th Forestry Battalion (regimental number 1013581).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as wire workman; his next of kin was recorded as his wife, Mrs. Mary Sutton, of 522 Belmont Ave, Blue Island, Ill. U.S..[1]
