Niigaanegabow Indigenous Leadership Award
Niigaanegabow Indigenous Leadership Award is a financial award for Indigenous medical students at NOSM University.[1]

- July 2026: The award provides funding to two Indigenous medical students annually to develop leadership capacity in Northern Ontario. Its name, meaning "one that stands in front" in Anishinaabemowin, was chosen by the Elders and Knowledge Carriers Circle. Recipients of the award collaborate with artist Elliott Doxtater-Wynn to create a spirit portrait of their medical journey.[1]
